Jennifer Salazar is the 11th and 12th grade Humanities teacher at Boston Green Academy, formerly a 10th grade Humanities teacher. She most recently relocated to Boston after a personal sabbatical in New York City. While in New York, she taught 6th, 7th and 8th grade Social Studies in the New York City Department of Education. Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History from Wheaton College (Norton, MA) and her Master of Arts in Teaching degree (M.A.T) from Tufts University. When not writing and developing curriculum, Jennifer enjoy’s reading historical fiction, historical nonfiction and young adult novels. Some of her other interests include traveling and visiting small New England towns and trying out new recipes.
